On February 15, 2020, at the age of 23 years old, Chase Soares of Falmouth passed away tragically in an auto accident. To honor Chase, his family and friends have created The Team Chase Foundation to provide funding for youth athletic and educational initiatives for underserved communities. Sunday, the 15th, Chase’s birthday, Team Chase held its foundation launch in Falmouth Heights. FCTV was there to learn more about Chase and the foundation that now bears his name.
The first trip Team Chase plans to make in their van is to Chase’s birthplace in Atlanta. The foundation hopes that others will use the Chase Kindness Ball to record their random acts of kindness around the globe.
